Called in after a friend recommended got to say this chippy is one of the better ones that ive found over the years I had steak pudding and chip the steak pudding was home made first seemed a little dry but believe me the quality of it soon excused that a drissle of gravy and it was fantastic chips were nice and cooked well if they had been cooked in beef dripping they would have been spot on but cannot fault them really partner had a large fish and peas the fish was cooked to perfection and very very reasonably priced peas were nice too all in all a great chippy that I will certainly be traveling too again

The fish and chips here are really nice, portions are great value for money. Breakfast sandwiches are just what’s needed - bacon is definitely high quality. You cannot forget the pies and puddings not your usual sad looking chippy pie - home made by the family just up the road! You can tell the owner has pride for their business and food.

Nice piece of fish in a lovely light batter. Steak and kidney pudding homemade much better than the standard pudding you get elsewhere, nice chunks of meat. Chips very nice and decent portion sizes. Highly recommended.
